Island West Alpacas wins Conservation Farm of Merit Award!

Our prior farm was named Island West Alpacas.

The King Conservation District (www.kingcd.org) has awarded Island West Alpacas the "Conservation Farm of Merit" award.

We worked with the conservation district office since the early stages of our farm planning. Jay Mirro was EXTREMELY helpful and friendly as we planned our pasture, barn and supporting items. He helped us to create a responsible farm which will be healthy for both the animals and the enviroment.

At our new farm, we strive for the same level of environmentally friendly land management practices to yield healthy pasture and healthy alpacas.
