Marketing description and awards history:
Great bloodlines (Legacy on his sire’s side and Michelangelo on his dam’s side) and luscious dark rose grey fiber! Double Shot’s fleece is dense and full of character... always drawing positive comments from the judges in the showring. And with this year's shearing he produced 9.3 pounds of fleece of which 5.2 pounds was blanket.
Double Shot has consistently placed in every show he has been in (all as a yearling) - even when competing with silver greys. With his background, color, and fleece qualities, we think he's got a great breeding career ahead of him.

FIORENZE of PVA

DOB 7/7/03
Suri
ARI# 806088
Bay Black

Fiorenza of PVA, son of Kobe and grandson of two-time Futurity Herdsire of the Year, Mahogany Prince, has it all! AND, he has 5 crias on the ground and they are all that we had expected from these pairings! This is the male we have chosen to breed our Captain Morgan females to. A full Peruvian and full 4th generation suri on both sides of his pedigree, this male has the genotype AND the phenotype to qualify for our breeding philosophy - breed the best to the best to produce the next generation, always striving for that "perfect alpaca"!!

Fiorenza exhibits exceptional luster and carries a uniform, wavy lock with good density. A very soft fleece with a silky handle and that "greasy" feel, it just begs to be touched! Fineness and that soft feel in blacks don't typically go hand in hand - that is what drew us to Fio in the first place.

His first crias are on a ground! First daughter is a bay black beauty and sold at just 2 months old! Limited outside breedings to Fiorenza will be available in 2007 so reserve yours NOW!

MERLIN

Merlin is the newest addition to our Suri Herdsire line-up. He is a 3/8th Accoyo, 3/4 Peruvian male just beginning his breeding career. He has been recently examined by Dr. Ahmed Tibary and received excellent marks for appearance, conformation and reproductive ability. He is predominantly medium fawn with some white and has fabulous genetics in his background which include Pperuvian Bruxo & Inca. He is exactly what we are looking for in a Suri male alpaca and we look forward to what he can produce.

Awards history:

Merlin has only been shown twice, but he sure made in good impression – as a juvenile he won 1st place at the 2005 AOBA Nationals under Judge Jude Anderson; as a yearling he swept the competition by winning a 1st place and Color Champion at the 2006 AlpacaPalooza show under Judge Charlene Friedman.

PREMIER'S RUBIO

Rubio has a fabulous pedigree. His renowned grandsires are Peruvian Bueno and Peruvian Don Julio. His rose grey color genes come from Cloud 9 Comet whose offspring have proven themselves many times over in fleece and halter shows. Rubio's dam, Premier's Jolie, has blue ribbons to her credit and is a full sister to Premier's Absolute, well known nationally for his outstanding show record. Rubio's sire is Snowmass Black Legend. Julie Skinner said of Rubio in Snowmass' 2006 auction catalog, "Premier's Rubio...one of the finest grey studs we have seen."

Rubio's fiber is butter soft. We are seeing the beginning of guard hairs as he nears age 5. He has crimp to his chin, and even his neck fiber is prime in quality and length. In fact, we entered neck fiber in spin-offs and got blue ribbons! The fiber from his second shearing was so lofty that we had to enter it in two bags - it just blew the judge away! Even after breeding for a year, his fiber diameter only increased two microns. When Ian Watt reviewed Rubio's skin follicle density results with us Sept. 2005, he exclaimed "This is a good male!" The primary & secondary SDs of 3.0 and 3.7 demonstrate the uniformity in his fiber, which is amazing for a grey.

Rubio has very straight conformation and a perfect bite. Although easily handled, he is an eager breeder and settles in one session. He hates being in the show ring and demonstrates this by cushing, making it difficult for the judge to assess conformation. Despite this behavior, Rubio has taken halter awards in very competitive classes. He has heavy bone on a medium frame.

Rubio is now co-owned with Rainier Alpacas and Alpacas at Morning Star Ranch, both in western Washington. He will stand at stud in eastern WA until June 1, then move to western WA for the summer and fall. Dams bred at Premier Alpacas in SE Washington, have the privilege of working with Dr.Ahmed Tibary at nearby WSU for their prebreeding exams and ultrasounds.

PREMIER'S RESOLUTE

DOB 7-29-04 (2 years 10 months at time of event)
ARI 124089

Intro stud fee $1400 until fall 2007. Breeding at Stellagarth Alpacas in western WA after June 2.

Resolute's mother is the grand dam of our foundation herd. She is full Peruvian Snowmass Don Julio's Prestige, a white that throws fabulous colored offspring. Resolute's sire is silver grey DDF Tobias. Resolute is a striking alpaca who stands out in the pasture. He has sturdy construction, a stunning head with a low, tight topknot and fiber with beautiful character. Resolute is typey, typey, typey.

Resolute competed well during his first show season. He took a 1st place at Alpacapalooza 2004 in full fleece halter where judge Jill MacLeod complimented him on his structure, typiness and fiber uniformity. At the Alpaca Western Extravaganza, Julio Sumar gave Resolute a second place, standing between two Crescent Moon males. Sumar was especially complimentary of his head. At the national show, he placed 5th out of 16. At the NW Alpaca Showcase Amanda VandenBosch gave Resolute second place in a composite class, with 1 point behind the first place male who became the color champion - a near miss! In that composite fleece competition, his fiber received 18 out of 20 points for fineness and handle, and 8.5 points out of 10 for crimp and character. Peter Kennedy awarded Resolute a second place at the 2007 NW Alpaca Showcase with high compliments for his type and consistent fiber.

Resolute has very nice fiber. Its crimp is evident from a distance before you open it, and the quality is consistent clear under his belly and to his knees, showing uniformity. His first histogram was: 19.3 MC; SD 4.4; CV 22.8, CF 97.9 and curve 35.2.

Resolute settled his first female with one breeding fall of 2006 and is looking forward to continuing his stud services. His stud fee will stay at the introductory rate until his first cria is on the ground.

PREMIER'S ICON

ARI 1431308
DOB 7-5-04

Intro. stud fee $1400 until fall 2007 Also breeding in Redmond WA at Power Line Alpacas.

This handsome fellow earned his name by personifying everything we are striving for in our breeding program - straight conformation, perfect proportions, handsome head and soft, lustrous fiber with high frequency crimp. Icon is definitely a keeper. He is half Peruvian with Peruvian Don Julio and 4Peruvian Legacy behind him. Icon is the son of Premier's Jolie, one of our top quality foundation females who is dam to Premier's Rubio, a rose grey with some of the best fiber in the industry. Jolie is also a full sister to the renowned rose grey Premier's Absolute. Icon's sire is Premier's Maximillian, a 4P Legacy son, who has many, many halter and fiber awards to his credit given by experienced judges.

Icon did well his first show season with some stiff competition. He took a second place at Alpacapalooza's 2005 full fleece halter show with judge Jill MacLeod complimenting him on his silky, uniform fiber. Julio Sumar also placed him second in a large class at the Alpaca Western Extravaganza. He placed 6th in a class of 18 at AOBA nationals. Peter Kennedy gave Icon a second at NW Alpaca Showcase's 2007 full fleece halter show.

Icon's first histogram is exemplary: MC 16.1; SD 3.4; CV 20.9; CF 100%; curve 33.3. He has crimp from his chin and to his knees. He is registered as light brown, but is turning rose grey on his neck. The rose is also creeping into his blanket. This color comes from his grandsire Cloud 9 Comet, now deceased, who was sire to Premier's Absolute.

We are excited to be able to offer Icon's stud services, as we judged him to be a keeper shortly after he was born. He settled a female with one breeding fall of 2006, so is good to go. His stud fee will remain at the introductory rate until his first cria is on the ground fall 2007.

Icon is now co-owned with Kathleen Casey of Power Line Alpacas in Redmond WA, so will be spending part of his time there standing at stud. Please inquire about his schedule.

BLACK TOTAL ECLIPSE

**** STUNNING BLUE BLACK ****

Black Total Eclipse is the son of Black Velvet Silhouette, 2002 National 1st Place Black Male, and a grandson of 5Peruvian Silverado. Like his AOBA blue ribbon sire, Eclipse exhibits bold crimpy locks of fiber from his head down his legs and along his side. Touch him and you immediately realize that he is dense with nice hand.

The product of two true black parents, this handsome youngster's pedigree shows four generations of outstanding grays including some of the industries most well known foundation gray herdsires such as SA Huckleberry, SA Karrington, El Gris PC G147, and, of course, 5Peruvian Silverado 9042. We look forward to his solid color pedigree producing fabulous grey and black crias!

His intense and bright true black fiber, silver and black genetics point to the likelihood that Eclipse will be a herdsire to watch. His striking color and herdsire presence made him a real "attention grabber" at the shows he has attended so far: 2005 MOPACA Invitational Alpaca Show, the 2005 Wisconsin Spring Fling, and the 2004 and 2005 Northern Illinois Alpaca Extravaganza shows. CONSTANTINO

Tino inherited his fantastic qualities from BOTH of his parents and is significantly improving all dams. He has produced all healthy, sound crias in all colors, including gray, and all that have shown have won ribbons! Cria microns are consistently in the 'teens with low SD's. Crimp and luster are phenominal. Density and coverage are fantastic. He has sired black and white fleece champions! Breeders are retaining offspring & coming back for repeat breedings!

5 yrs in the blues and purples! Tino has placed or scored above winning sons of Accoyo Royal Fawn and Accoyo Legacy, the two current, record high-selling herdsires!
Judges: "the future of the industry, consistently the finest of his competitors, outstanding fleece character & handle", "extremely fine and dense for his age" (AWE 05, Krieger, 33 mos.), "largest testicles, strength and structure, ability to move out freely, correct proportions and a well-conditioned fleece."

Tino is solidly dense, super fine, crimpy and lustrous. Superb phenotype and head. Tino's 19m/17 cv, untrimmed cria fleece never collected debris (see photo in sale listing)- solid density! 9 to 10 crimps per inch in 03 and 04. 8 crimps per inch in 06 w/ skinny bundles. His fleece's degree of curvature remained the same in '05 and '06 at 39.4!

Like his outstanding parents, he's passing on: correct phenotype; structure; proportions; movement; heavy bone; even temperaments; presense; strong libido/early maturation; lg. testicles; heavy lactation; complete coverage; uniformity; super density; fineness with tensile strength; lasting, strong crimp character; high brightness; super soft handle; long staple; lack of medulation and ribbons!

Breeder's 2006 Comments on Tino: "Wow" "Impressive" "Stunning crias" "Better than what I've seen at other farms." "Gorgeous heads"

Sire: Silas of Bolivia

Phobos is an exceptional full Bolivian! His fleece is beautiful; bright white, small uniform crimp and bundling, and extremely fine. His two year micron count was just 17.4! ONYX DE MICO

Two-Time AOBA National Blue-Ribbon Winner - Onyx de Mico. Onyx has an
impressive show record, but more importantly so do his cria. In two + show
seasons, his cria have racked up Three Color Championships, Two Reserve
Color Championships, twelve blue and eleven red ribbons! On top of that
three Onyx cria have been accepted into the AOBA National auction.

No mysteries on what to expect either - this well proven herdsire has 41
registered cria that consistently exhibit dense, crimpy fine fleeces
(usually dark) and the "Onyx" head and disposition. Bred to True Black he
has produced true black almost 100% of the time. He has even thrown bay
black and dark brown from white and beige dams. In fact 64% of his crias
have been true or bay black. On more than one occasion, breeders have told
us that they are hoping for a boy from their Onyx breeding - the ultimate
compliment.

JORDAN

Jordon loves children and quests coming to our farm. He's my P.R. alpaca and welcomes being touched and handled. His gentle personality reflects a perpetual smile on his face. His fleece crimp and character are phenominal and is reflected in a low CV of 3.5. In his first show at 6 months and 2 weeks this little guy took a 2nd place ribbon in a huge class of alpacas. In October he won a blue ribbon and went on to win color champion in a huge competition at Alpacamania, and he was only 1 week past his 1st birthday! This fall fleece is showing great density while maintaining his 19 micron fineness and beautufully defined crimp style. Jordon has a rose grey face and grey hairs in his topnot. His father, Elija was almost 2 years old when he was reclassified as a rose grey male. Jordan has a pink/lavender/grey/fawn color to his fleece which has really been hard to determine what color he is...but the potential could be awesome. Watch for Jordon in our herdsire lineup for fall 2007!

MICHELANGELOS GEEVES
Black
Sire: Michelangelo
Dam: Starwood Gina

We are very pleased to announce our co-ownership in this beautiful award wiining male with JANUS ALPACA and FIBER Co. We have been searching for over a year for that special black male, you know what I am talking about, the one that stands out above the rest in overall presence and quality. We have found what we were searching for in Geeves, and he will bring reality to our goal of breeding the very best we can find. We could not be more pleased to bring this outstanding herdsire to our farm beginning in May of 2007.

Geeves has an awesome pedigree with wonderful depth of color and winners! He is the son of the famed Michelangelo, who now resides at Fleecy Dale Alpacas! Geeves' dam, Starwood Gina, is a top quality Accoyo Camilio daughter who looks Maroon. She is an AOBA Blue Ribbon halter show winner with great conformation & dense, crimpy fleece.

Geeves temperament is wonderful! He is a compact male with great density, fin eness and brightness to his fleece. Geeves' fleece has a well defined lock formation with independent staples. It's good to have fineness but to be dense as well is one of his many virtues. His crimp is uniform throughout his blanket. Truly an "ELITE BLACK FLEECE"!

Geeves' head type looks just like his sire, Michelangelo. He is producing many females and most of his crias are much darker than the dams. He has thrown even a Silver Grey & Black with Fawn females.
If you are looking for an outstanding black male to breed to your special females book now for 2007. We feel Geeves will not have to worry about getting enough girlfriends. His quality speeks for itself. Your girls will be asking you for his phone number.
